Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato Release 'Fall in Line'

Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera started teasing the track on May 15 — a day before release — with photos from their childhoods and select lyrics from the track.

And for Lovato, the chance to collaborate was a long time coming.

"I have always looked up to Christina. I remember being at her concert and singing facing the crowd instead of the stage, knowing that that was exactly what I wanted to do in life," Lovato said in an interview with Billboard. "She speaks up for what she believes in and sends a positive message, which are two things I find extremely important when given the platform we are lucky enough to have."

Demi and XTina are now slated to perform the track for the first time live at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, which will will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. Kelly Clarkson will host the show.
