It's being reported that BTS will be putting out new music in August.
A special release featuring 2-3 new songs from the chart-topping act is reported to be a separate entity from the group’s No. 1 album Love Yourself: Tear, which made history upon its release in May. In the past, the group has put out extended reissued albums, known as "repackages" in South Korea, but this reportedly will be a stand-alone release. The group will reportedly film a music video for the upcoming release, and perform the new music in South Korea for the first time at the kick-off of their Love Yourself world tour on Aug. 25 and Aug. 26 in Seoul. They will then head to North America for over a dozen sold-out stops of their concert series. Neither BTS nor their label Big Hit Entertainment have confirmed the report BUT fans on social media reacted with excitement with the #BTSISCOMINGBACK for several hours on Saturday.
