BTS Receives Artist Award at 44th Korean Broadcasting Awards

BTS recently revealed plans for a September release are the recipients of this year’s Artist Award at the 44th Korean Broadcasting Awards on Monday (Jul. 31), selected by 24 panel judges for the Korean Broadcasters Association.

The boys were honored for their “achievements and influence both in Korea and worldwide.” (Translation by Soompi.)
This win is especially significant given that it is the only artist-based category at the ceremony. 

BTS recently made international headlines by announcing that they added a new meaning to their English name — “Beyond the Scene” — as well as unveiling a new logo.
