Tegan and Sara are releasing their memoir High School on Sept. 24, followed by their ninth studio album,Hey, I’m Just Like You on Sept. 27, and they are embarking on their Hey, I’m Just Like You Tour, starting off in Brooklyn, New York on Sept. 24.
According to a statement on their website, the pair will be playing a mostly acoustic set, while also reading passages from their new memoir and sharing old video footage of the two of them from their teenage years. “We have so much in store for you,” T&S wrote. “It’s going to be a super special evening that you don’t want to miss. We’ve been away from you all for nearly two years and can’t wait to see you.” Tegan and Sara also revealed that they would be teaming up with local, independent book stores to provide a copy of High School with every ticket sold to their dates in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle (the tour dates from Sept. 24 - Oct. 4). The pair also shared that $1 of every ticket sold on their tour will be donated to the Tegan and Sara Foundation.
