Rapper Lil Wayne left the Bristow, VA stage in the middle of his set last night! He is currently on a 38-stop tour with rock band, Blink-182 – but, according to last night’s upset, not far long. Within 20 minutues of Weezy’s set list – which was only four songs – he walked off the stage and didn’t return! He seemed to be upset that Blink-182’s fans outnumbered his. How he could have calculated that is a mystery.
Weezy told the Jiffy Lube Live Ampitheater audience, “I just want the people to know, please forgive me, but I am so not used to performing to a crowd where there is not too many. That’s not my swag, I’m not sure how long I’m gonna be able to do this tour.” Before walking off, he added, “But make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night though.” Lil Wayne’s early-dismissal disappointment several fans, considering the announcement of the tour in May was met with an overwhelmingly positive response on social media. Lil Wayne’s and Blink-182’s co-headlined tour still has over 30 dates to perform over the next three months. Neither of their reps have released official statements on Wayne’s walk-off.
