A$AP Rocky has been charged with a crime after spending weeks in a Swedish jail. Prosecutors charged him with Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm stemming from a street brawl in the country's capital .. and if convicted he could spend 2 years behind bars.

The prosecutor said A$AP will continue to be held in jail pending a trial ... and the trial date has not been set, although it could be today.

Two members of Rocky's crew have also been charged with the same crime and they will also be held pending trial.
The Swedish prosecutor just boasted he had access to more information than people on the internet.  He said he's reviewed video and also talked to witnesses, and determined the claims by Rocky and his 2 crew members of self defense and provocation didn't hold water, despite the fact the alleged victim is the one who unrelentingly harassed and attacked Rocky and his crew first.

The prosecutor says he also considered the alleged victim's statement, which he says was supported by witness statements.

​The alleged victim admits striking A$AP's bodyguard with a set of headphones, but only after the bodyguard lifted him off the ground by his neck, so the prosecutor viewed the headphones attack as self defense.  BTW, the lifting by the neck is not on video, and interestingly, if the prosecutor really felt the bodyguard was the aggressor he would have been presumably charged ... and the bodyguard has already been cleared.

A$AP has been in jail alongside two of his associates since turning himself in to Swedish authorities earlier this month. Prosecutors inadvertently played their hand last week, announcing they were going to charge the Harlem rapper ... and on Thursday the hammer finally dropped.

The only good news for Rocky ... he and his crew will not be charged with Aggravated Assault, a more serious crime which carries a 6-year prison sentence.

Meek Mill's 2008 gun conviction was just thrown out, and he's being granted a new trial and a new judge to re-fight the charge.

A panel of judges handed down their decision Wednesday in Pennsylvania Superior Court -- saying Meek deserve a new trial, with a new jury.

Meek celebrated the decision on social media, writing ... "As of right now I’m not on probation and I am not a felon anymore," adding a bunch of praying hands. He went on to say, "today was mega!!!"

The key witness in the case turned out to be a dirty cop. Even the prosecutor wanted a new trial, but Judge Brinkley wouldn't budge. This time around, a panel of 3 judges who were not previously involved in the case unanimously made the decision to throw out the conviction.

Meek just said, "I'd like to thank the Pennsylvania Superior Court judges for their wisdom and their transparency in reviewing my case, unanimously overturning my conviction and granting me a new trial.  The past 11 years have been mentally and emotionally challenging, but I'm ecstatic that justice prevailed."

He goes on ... "This positive outcome wouldn't have been possible without the support of my family, my attorneys, Jay Z, Desiree Perez, Michael Rubin, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and my supporters who have stood with me through the ups and downs."

Meek makes it clear, not everyone is this lucky ... "Unfortunately, millions of people are dealing with similar issues in our country and don't have the resources to fight back like I did.  We need to continue supporting them. I'm committed to working with my team at the REFORM Alliance to change these outdated laws and fix our broken criminal justice system."

Britney Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, is in talks to reboot 'Zoey 101' on Nickelodeon.

It's been 11 years since 'Zoey' went off the air, but with so many Nick classics like "All That" and "Blues Clues" getting a 2nd life, these seems like the right time to bring it back!

The premise of the show would follow Zoey's life in SoCal ten years later at the age of 28 -- only this time, she'd have a couple of kids in the mix. Unclear if she'd have a partner or not, or if she's still involved with her character's longtime love interest, Chase.

As for Austin Butler, who played James on the show, his fate is still undetermined since he is now playing Elvis in the new Baz Luhrmann biopic.

Tegan and Sara are releasing their memoir High School on Sept. 24, followed by their ninth studio album,Hey, I’m Just Like You on Sept. 27, and they are embarking on their Hey, I’m Just Like You Tour, starting off in Brooklyn, New York on Sept. 24.

According to a statement on their website, the pair will be playing a mostly acoustic set, while also reading passages from their new memoir and sharing old video footage of the two of them from their teenage years. “We have so much in store for you,” T&S wrote. “It’s going to be a super special evening that you don’t want to miss. We’ve been away from you all for nearly two years and can’t wait to see you.”

Tegan and Sara also revealed that they would be teaming up with local, independent book stores to provide a copy of High School with every ticket sold to their dates in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle (the tour dates from Sept. 24 - Oct. 4). The pair also shared that $1 of every ticket sold on their tour will be donated to the Tegan and Sara Foundation.

Taylor Swift just surprised fans by releasing “The Archer”  from her upcoming album Lover.

“There’s a vast part of this album that I worked with Jack Antonoff on, he is phenomenal… I wanted to show you a song that we worked on together,” she said.

Taylor revealed some of the Easter Eggs that she’s dropped to tease the song, including the moment in the “You Need to Calm Down” video in which Hayley Kiyoko shot an arrow at the number five.

“It’s not the next single. It’s just a song that I love on the album.. I haven’t made a video for it or anything. This is just a glimpse into another side of the album that I wanted to show you,” she added. She also said the song is one of the most vulnerable ones on the album.

NCT 127's  “Highway to Heaven.” just dropped last week and now Now the group is back Monday (July 22) with a their music video to match.

The video was filmed while NCT 127 was touring in the southwest of the United States in the Mojave Desert, and a variety of rock formations and Joshua trees visible throughout the clip.

"Highway to Heaven" was released on the group's May release, We Are Superhuman. The new version is the second music video for “Highway to Heaven,” following a black-and-white one that was released as part of NCT 127’s North American leg of their 2019 worldwide Neo City tour. 

Kid Cudi will executive produce, star, write and soundtrack an animated Netflix series based on his forthcoming album, Entergalactic.

"Im just gettin started!! 'Entergalactic' coming next year,"Cudi tweeted. Entergalactic will serve as Cudi's first solo LP since 2016's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'. The animated series pits the Cleveland native alongside fellow executive producers Kenya Barris (Black-ish) and Ian Edelman (How to Make It in America).

​Cudi continued to tease fans about the unique project. "Entergalactic will be something you've never experienced," he claimed. "I promise it'll be a fun ride. Lot of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!"

Willow Smith Released eight tracks that she and boyfriend Tyler Cole collaborated on together.

The entire project has themes of female empowerment, relationships, and generational issues.

Willow‘s brother, Jaden, is also featured on the “U Know” track, rapping a verse.
