5 Seconds of Summer just dropped “Old Me,” from their soon to be released new album, which is all about growing up.
“‘Old Me’ carries a youthful spirit and follows the narrative of a young persons life growing up, for better or for worse,” Luke explained in a statement. He continued, “Every decision we made, whether right or wrong, has led us to the men we are proud to be today. We were thrown into the public eye at a young age and gratefully had each other at a confusing time. Sometimes it’s important we look back in order to appreciate the journey we’ve been on together.”

BTS as a whole has broken numerous records making them one of the best K-Pop groups of all time.
Now the groups members are now setting records of their own. BTS’s leader, RM recently collaborated on a track with singer Younha on his Unstable Mindset Album called “Winter Flower.” RM is known to be a huge Younha fan, and he often shares her music on social media. As for how the two of them came to collaborate, Younha recently revealed: “RM and I have said for years that it would be great if we could collaborate. There wasn’t any music that would have the right topic or synergy, so I didn’t suggest anything, but then [the musician] Edenary drew me a picture, and I finally sent RM the suggestion.” RM and Younha’s song recently broke a sales record even though “Winter Flower” is not a single that RM and Younha are promoting, it still managed to chart anyway. It came in at number 48 in South Korea and number 30 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales list. The song sold around 4,800 copies so far, which might not sound like much at first, but it is actually an impressive number in a year where sales have largely been replaced with streams. |
