Adam Lambert will release "Feel Something" on Thursday night (Feb. 21) at 9 p.m. PT, the singer announced on social media.
"This was written about me climbing out of the low period, defying my disillusionment, owning my needs, and opening my heart. The life of a bachelor can be a laugh, with plenty of flings, but after a while it starts to feel empty," he wrote in an Instagram post. "I felt numb -- and though I wanted to fall in love, I knew I wasn't ready." The song is off of his upcoming album and will usher in his new era of "taking responsibility" for his "own happiness and strength, and searching for intimacy." Lambert also thanked Queen, with whom he has been touring for recharging him with "tons of positive energy." He was also sure to thank the "spirit of Freddie Mercury" for inspiring him "to push ahead bodly."
