2016 Best Actress Academy Award winner Brie Larson, 2007 Best Supporting Actress winner Jennifer Hudson, previous Oscar nominees Ken Watanabe, Jason Reitman and Emmanuel Lubezki, and Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs announced the nominees for the 89th Academy Awards, airing live on February 26, 2017 from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
