The Mexican beer company Estrella Jalisco and Jenni Rivera Enterprises have joined forces to produce a special Día de los Muertos tribute in honor of the Diva de la Banda at this year's Hollywood Forever Cemetery annual Day of the Dead Festival, taking place Oct. 29. "The legacy of Jenni Rivera continues to grow and this Día de los Muertos tribute exemplifies how much she is loved to this day -- we are happy to collaborate with Estrella Jalisco in this fitting celebration," Juan Rivera, vice president of Jenni Rivera Enterprises, said in a statement. "Jenni Rivera fans can expect a historic celebration of her life on October 29." The partnership announcement also teases an "unprecedented musical surprise that will take place during the Día de los Muertos festival at Hollywood Forever Cemetery," which can be seen by fans around the world on Facebook Live via Jenni Rivera's and Estrella Jalisco's Facebook pages. "Jenni Rivera embodies the rich Mexican traditions and values that made her authentic and unique. Estrella Jalisco is a brand that does the same. We are proud to commemorate the legacy of La Diva de la Banda through an exclusive consumer experience for Día de los Muertos," adds Jorge Inda Meza, Western Region marketing director, Anheuser-Busch. This 17th annual Day of the Dead Festival will also include special performances by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas, Mitre, Mariachi Flor de Toloache, Buyepongo and Peruvian duo Alejandro y Maria Laura.
