According to the Economic Times, Dua Lipa became the youngest female artist in history yet to surpass one billion views on a music video on YouTube. The remarkable feet took a little less than a year. Lipa's girl-powered video for "New Rules" reeled in more than one billion watches on the video-sharing program.
Drake's new video for "God's Plan" just dropped featuring Drake's philanthropy throughout Miami.

They were supposed to embark on a four-city tour to Australia in 2017, but it was postponed until March 2018, because of “a change in scheduling.” Unfortunately, it looks like it’s not going to happen anymore, since the tour has been canceled.
Director Ava DuVernay has announced that Sade has written an original track for the upcoming film A Wrinkle in Time, titled Flower of the Universe. Sade Adu has not released new music since 2010's album, Soldier of Love.
“I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway,” DuVernay’s tweet reads. “She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for Wrinkle in Time. It’s entitled ‘Flower of the Universe.’ And it’s a dream come true.”
Jennifer Lopez has been hinting at a collaboration with Cardi B for months now, and on Tuesday (February 6), she finally confirmed that the the two New York natives are indeed making a song together.
“I feel like you already know that I collaborated with Cardi B,” she told Latina.com. "The name of the song is ‘Dinero.’ I don’t know what the video is going to be yet but we’ll see what we come up with.”

When asked by a fan on Twitter recently about the album’s release, the songwriter hinted that the album would be coming later this year. “Who decides your next album release date,” the fan wrote. Robyn replied, “I do. Some time this year honey.”
Best Buy will stop selling CDs completely, according to a report from Billboard, the company has told music suppliers that it will stop selling CDs in its stores on July 1. Once the most powerful music merchandiser in the U.S., Best Buy's CD sales are now down, reportedly only generating about $40 million a year.
While CDs will no longer be sold at the store, Best Buy will still continue to carry vinyl for the next two years thanks to a commitment made to vendors. Sources say records in the stores will now be merchandised with turntables.
Kesha has been forced to postpone some of her shows in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan as part of her Rainbow world tour to undergo knee surgery.
Kesha tore her ACL in her knee after falling during a concert in Dubai in early February, Variety reported. The postponed 11 dates were to begin March 25 in Brendale, Australia, before wrapping up April 20 in Osaka, Japan.
Fans are asked to hold onto their tickets as rescheduled concert dates will be announced at a later time. Kesha is still moving forward with her upcoming joint summer tour with Macklemore that begins in June.

Frank Ocean is suing Om'Mas Keith, whom Frank says he hired in 2014 to produce master recordings for his "Blonde" album. Frank says Om'Mas is now trying to get credit for co-writing a bunch of those songs.
Frank says Om'Mas registered with ASCAP, and claimed he had co-written 11 songs.
